Dorothy Toups Collins

Dorothy “Dot” Toups Collins, 91, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Cut Off, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Ray Collins (Karen), Noles Collins, Jr.; daughter, Annette Pitre (Tad); 9 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Esther Cenac; brothers, James “Jimmy” Toups and Waldon “Billy” Toups, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noles Collins, Sr.; infant daughter, Sandra Lynn Collins; daughter, Cheryl Collins Bourque; son-in-law, Boyce Bourque; grandson-in-law, William Wright IV; great grandsons, Davis Collins, Nicholas Wright, Connor Wright; sister, Gloria Toups Malbrough and parents, Waldon “Bill” Edmond Toups, Sr. and Olivia Angelette Toups.
