Doris LeBlanc Adams, 97, a native of Raceland, Louisiana and a resident of Mathews, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. She enjoyed working in her flowers, reading, making word puzzles, baking, and spending quiet time bird watching.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Adams, Jr. (Susan); her daughters, Constance Gros (Alvin) and Charlene Williams (James); her sister, Mazie Boleman; grandchildren, Randall, Melissa (Randy), Tod (Crystal), Chris (Dana), Jeremy (Kathy), Danielle and Amy (Ty); great grandchildren, Hallie, Randi Lyn, Morgan, Maci, Bailey, Gabe and Luke; and great-great grandchildren, Sophia, Rylie, Ivan, and Violet.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Adams, Sr.; son, Randall Adams; parents, Yves and Eula (Talbot) LeBlanc; brothers, Harris LeBlanc, Sr., Kenneth LeBlanc and Freddie LeBlanc and her sisters, Janelle Roberts and Catherine Condon.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. The interment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Catherine’s Hospice for their compassionate care.
