Dora Blanchard Bruce, 77 a native of Galliano, La and resident of Cut Off, La. passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at home with her loving family near her side.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Christian Family Center from 10:00am until service time. A celebration of life will be celebrated at 12:00pm with burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Dora is survived by her children; James Bruce (Nikki), Dallas Bruce, and Reagan Bruce, sisters; Toni Painting (Bill), Tammy Duet (Jace), grandchildren; Angelique (Freddie), Janie (Shawn), Holden, Bentley and Brax, great-grandchildren; Maddox, Makenzie, Braxton, Conner, Brantley, Maddison, nephews; Jhy, Cody and Jace Duet, II.
Dora was preceded in death by her husband; Eddie Pierre Bruce, Jr., parents; Smith, Sr. and Attress Guidry Blanchard, daughter; Stacie Bruce, brother; Smith Blanchard, Jr., niece; Tara Callais, nephews; Carl Callais, Jr. and Chad Callais.
She was owner/ operator of Bruce Insurance Agency.
