Dora Autin Boudreaux

Dora Louise Autin Boudreaux passed away on July 8th, 2026 with her son and her husband of 44 years by her side in Sevierville, TN. Born on October 22nd, 1948 at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA, she was adopted by Alzec and Daisy Autin of Galliano, LA. Growing up in Galliano, she attended Larose Cut Off High School, Nicholls State University, and Southwestern Louisiana University. She was married to Sterling Boudreaux in 1971, living in New Orleans before moving to Slidell, LA from 1977 to 2005. Afterwards, she lived in New York City and most recently in Sevierville, TN. Throughout her life, she held many titles from Miss LCO 1966; sister of the Tri-Sigma Sorority; New Orleans Geological Society Auxiliary President; as well as being one of the top sales people at Banner Chevrolet, but perhaps the titles she was most proud of were Doe to her husband, Mom to her son and Mimi to her two grandchildren. Strong in her opinions and her love of animals, she never passed up an opportunity to tell you what she was thinking, make a new friend, or help an animal in need. She is preceded in death by her parents Alzec & Daisy Galliano Autin, her sister Lavon Carnagey, and her nephew Kenneth Boudreaux, Jr. She is survived by her husband Sterling Boudreaux, their son Brandon Boudreaux, and her grandchildren Bain & Lillie Boudreaux. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of her life on Saturday, July 18th at Falgout Funeral Home in Cut Off, LA from 11am to 1pm before she is laid to rest next to her parents at Sacred Heart Church Mausoleum in Cut Off.
