DL Duet

DL Joseph Duet, 83, a native of Cut Off and resident Golden Meadow passed away on August 15th, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

 Mr. Duet is survived by his sons: Reynolds (Rae Smith), Chad (Colleen Anselmi), Brad (Sandy Felarise); daughter: Hope Pitre (Tom); grandchildren: Maggie Daigneault (Drake), Kitty Prudhomme (Eric), Roxxy Pitre, T-Tom Pitre (Amber Rebstock), Raven Duet (Aaron Callais), Addy Duet (Jimmy Vasquez Jr.), Harley Duet (Jay Oldbear), and Jamina Anselmi; great grandchildren: Lily and Annie Daigneault, Russ and Teddy Leger, Kami, Kimi, Kate, Keni, and Tomi Pitre, Trent Prudhomme, Emery Callais, Aly Vasquez, Braxton Matherne, Cayven Anselmi, Nadia and Josh Dardar; brother: Chris Duet; and sisters: Linda Cheramie and Cathy Ponville.

 Mr. Joseph was preceded in death by his loving wife: Barbara Terrebonne Duet; beloved canine companion: John Smith Joseph Duet; parents: Penelton Duet Sr. and Midred “Bird” Danos Duet; sister: Janis Duet Callais; and brother: Penelton “DoDo” Duet, Jr.

 Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow on Monday, August 19th, 2024 from 9:00 am until service time. His Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
