Dickie J. Orgeron, Sr., 83, a native of Lockport, LA, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Visitation will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church, on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Dickie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Jane Orgeron; children, Dickie J. Orgeron, Jr., Jessica Plaisance (Ron), Jeanine Hotard (Roy), Jamie Breaux (Adam); grandchildren, Kasey Ford, Amber Orgeron, Zakk Hotard, Zayne Breaux; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Orgeron and Beverly Dufrene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harris and Nazy Plaisance Orgeron; brothers, Milner “White”, Roland, Jerry and Willis Orgeron and sister, Linda Dempster.
Dickie was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
