Derrill E. "Big D" Falgout, 66, a native of Luling and resident of Houma, died at 8:17 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2011.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his son, Jean- Paul Falgout and wife, Pattie; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Falgout.
He was an Air Force veteran.
