Deloria S. Dantin

Deloria S. Dantin, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, LA passed away on September 5, 2025. She was born September 3, 1940 in Golden Meadow.

Deloria is survived by her children, Cynthia Giroir (James), Rhonda Cheramie (Nelson), Robin Reed (Anthony), and Bobby C. Dantin, Jr (Emily); sister, Gloria McDonald; sisters-in-law, Lenny and Carolyn Soley; grandchildren, Gary Cheramie, Lee Dantin (Raven), Stephanie Sayles (James), Brooke Willsey (Parker) and Millie Dantin; step-grandchildren Tony and Ben Reed (Christy); great-grandchildren, Luna, Saoirse, and Phelim Sayles, Annalee Dantin, and Elias Cheramie; step-great-grandchildren, Andy, Micah and Emma Reed.

Deloria was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby C. Dantin, Sr.; her parents, Optez Joseph and Evelia Dardar Soley; her granddaughter Debbie Cheramie; brothers, Clayvington, Harris, and Clifton Soley (Patsy); and brother-in-law, Robert McDonald.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September, 11, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, from 10:00 AM until the service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
