Dean G. Toups, 72, a native and resident of Gheens, LA, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gheens, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am.
He is survived by his wife, Carlotta Pitre Toups; daughter, Debbie Toups Head (Mike); grandchildren, Jessica, Gracie and Mikie; great grandchildren, Lincoln and James Dean; brothers, Kearney, Reed, Randy and Lane Toups; sisters, Dolores Foreman, Connie Matherne and Cathy Durio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Bess Dufrene Toups; step son, Terry Guidry; brothers, Alvin, Donovan, Cleary, Tommy, Dale, Lindel and Sandy Toups and sisters, Lois Walker, Wanda Toups, Shillie Sampey and Brenda Martinez.
Dean loved spending time with his family. His wife and grandkids were his life. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers donations to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
