Dave Paul Folse, 88, a native of Raceland and a resident of Lockport, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. Military Honors will be at 10:00 am. Funeral Services will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his children Debra Knobloch (Denis Jr.), Jody Folse (Pamela), Lisa Folse; grandchildren, Dawn Breaux (Todd), Dana Licalzi (Seth), Danielle Knobloch, Erin Folse, Jordan Folse; great grandchildren, Evan and Owen Breaux, Spencer Rose Licalzi; brothers, Milton "Bobby" Folse, Richard Folse; sisters, Betty Pertuit, Sylvia LeBlanc and Patricia "Patsy" Douglas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorina Grabert Folse; son, Dave Folse Jr.; parents, Adolph and Leona Martin Folse; brothers, Earl "Bud" Folse, Irvin "Lou" Folse, Robert Folse and sisters Earline Lindley, Helen Pierce and Ella Mae Folse.
Dave was a loving husband and father who especially loved being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Japan with the occupying forces.
