Darlene Richard Savoie

Darlene Richard Savoie, 73, a native of St. Charles Community, LA and a resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, November 2, 2026 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Chacahoula, LA. Rosary service will began at 10:00 am followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis A. Savoie; son, Corey Savoie (Nicole); daughter, Nicole Savoie Stanley (Tyson); grandchildren, Katelyn, Logan, Hailey, Alaina and Adison; brother, David Richard; sister, Brenda Legendre and 1 great grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her son, Troy Savoie; parents, Etienne and Amelia Lirette Richard; sisters, Geraldine Breaux, Ruby Richard, Lucille Breaux, Diane Foret, Leola Folse and Jeanette Dugruise.

Darlene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
