Dana has fought the good fight and passed away in the early hours on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 66 years of age.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a visitation beginning at 9:30 on Monday, August 3rd at St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church in Paradis, Louisiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30AM with burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling, Louisiana.
Dana is survived by his spouse, of 47 years, Tammy Clulee Frickey; his daughters Candice Eskridge and her husband Jeffrey and Courtnie Frickey. His three grandchildren, that he couldn’t be prouder of, Caden Comardelle, Cohen Comardelle and Sky Eskridge. His siblings Keith Frickey and wife Tanya, Dale Frickey and wife Kim-Alice, Judy Sumrall and husband John, and Monica Frickey and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Beverly Eusea and A.J. Frickey, and sisters Trina Frickey and Lori Frickey Latiolais.
Dana loved spending his time with his family and friends. He especially loved anything to do with his grandchildren, fishing, mud riding, camping, and watching them perform in sporting, theater and singing events. He would host Frickey Fridays with all his extended family and friends, where he would do what he also loved, cooking and feeding them. He loved to entertain and make everyone laugh. He gave his time to others without expecting anything in return, as he said “you gotta do what you gotta do.” He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
All who knew Dana knows that he was always quick with a story or a joke. He loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends. If he were here, he would say don’t think about me with sadness but remember all the great times and memories that were made.
Falgout Funeral Home is honored to serve the Frickey family.
