Clyde J. Babin, age 66, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will continue Saturday, April 7 at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church from 9:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the church Saturday, starting at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Clyde is survived by his children, Joseph P. Babin (Brandi) and Angie B. Champagne (Allen); brother, Presley Babin (Linda); sisters, Evelyn "Lulu" Babin, Loretta Smith (Carl), Joyce Osbourn (Jimmy); 8 grandchildren, Tracy Adams, Alec Champagne, Andy Champagne, Julian Wiley, Caleb Babin, Tristen Babin, Jaylyn Babin, Jayce Bearden; great grandchild, Ava Williams; longtime close friend, David Fournier and canine companion, Jake.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bernice Babin; son, Chad M. Babin and great grandchild, Elijah Williams.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
