Clara Mae Plaisance Bruce, 85, a native and resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 7:29 AM in Cut Off, LA.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Galliano and husband Moise, Rhonda Gautreaux and husband Dwight; Deidra Guidry; daughter-in-law, Kathy M. Bruce; brother, Henry Plaisance, Jr.; sisters Edna Danos, Shirley Danos; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bruce, Jr.; son, Robert Bruce; parents Henry Plaisance, Sr. and Anastacie Melancon Plaisance; sister, Velma Danos and one grandchild.
Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
