Christine B. Larousse

Christine Marie Bonvillian Larousse March 16, 1958 – September 24, 2026

A devout Catholic and a dedicated member of the Dominican Laity, Christine lived her life guided by a deep and abiding faith. She was deeply loved by those who knew her, remembered always for her warm spirit and unwavering devotion to her loved ones. Throughout her life, Christine worked gracefully as a bookkeeper and even ran her own rosary-making business, beautifully blending her skills with her spiritual life. However, her greatest pride and joy was always her vocation as a homemaker, dedicating herself to creating a loving, nurturing environment for her husband and children.

Christine is survived by her devoted husband, Jody Michael Larousse; her five children and fourteen treasured grandchildren, daughter Ashley Marie Larousse and her children Gabriel Alexander “Lucy” Maronge, Jodie-Amanda Knight, and Jason Joseph Punch Jr., daughter Lila Ann Larousse and companion Jeramey Hall and children Alice Mary “Toby” Jones and Nikki Peter Eklund, son Jory Michael Larousse and companion Kristine Marie O’Conner and children Marie Lorenza Larousse, Zayne Michael Paul Larousse, Ryder James Smith, Rosalie Elizabeth Larousse, Elodie Mae Larousse, Kennedy Piper Rose O’Connor, Kendyll Penelope Rose O’Conner, and Kory Michael O’Conner, son Jesse Michael Larousse, and Veronica Ann Larousse and son Joseph Michael Wintzel. She also leaves behind her siblings, Margaret Bonvillian Terrebonne and Husband Matthew Terrebonne, Jerry Bonvillian Jr. and wife Sarah Gaubert Bonvillian, Glenn Bonvillian and wife Twyla Fletcher Bonvillian, and Crystal Bonvillian and companion Melanie Schiller-Seidel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Bonvillian and Lorenza Cantrelle Bonvillian, and her two brothers, Dennis Bonvillian Sr. and Robert Bonvillian.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, Louisiana, on Monday, September 28th at 11:00am. [A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 5:00pm-9:00p. on Sunday, September 27th, and again on Monday, September 28th beginning at 9:00am-10:45am at Falgout's Funeral Home in Lockport.
