Charles E. Petty, 82, a native of Ida, LA and a resident of Bayou Gauche, LA, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. A Military Service will be at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Des Allemands Mennonite Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Harris Petty; son, Sam Petty (Giovanni); daughter, Lisa Gray (James); brother, David Petty; grandson, Roy Madere; great grandchildren, Tori, Antoine and Mason Madere and 4 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Adolphine Petty; parents, Crit and Lillie Petty; brother, Michael Petty and sisters, Mary Jean Chester and Suzanne Petty.
Charles was a runner for various charities.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
