Charles "Charlie" O'Quin

Charles “Charlie” O’Quin, 70, a native of Galliano and resident of Cut Off, joined the Kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, December 31st, 2025.

Mr. Charles is survived by his wife of 13 years: Elizabeth “Liz” O’Quin; children: Tera O’Quin, Cory O’Quin (Gi Gi), Rena LeBlanc (Shane), Devin O’Quin (Lauren); step daughter: Melissa Frentz (Ryan); grandchildren: Dayne LeBlanc (Grace), Maddox O’Quin, Jaelyn O’Quin, Madelyn O’Quin, Collin Chouest, Braelyn O’Quin, Kinsley LeBlanc, Corben Frentz, Levi Frentz, Lincoln Frentz, soon to be great granddaughter: Naomi LeBlanc; sister: Jeanette Theriot (Mike), Diane Louviere (Huey), Jean O’Quin, Karen O’Quin; god children: Harley O. Blanchard and Clint Guidry; and brothers in law: Bobby Coupel and Mitchell Baudoin.

Mr. O’Quin was preceded in death by his daughter: Brenda “Sue Sue” Ballam; step son: Erik Terrebonne; parents: Lloyd and Royeuna G. O’Quin; grandparents: Pierre and Cesla K. Guidry; brother: Vorney O’Quin; many aunts and uncles; mother in law: Bella Plaisance Coupel.

Charlie was an avid fisherman that enjoyed traveling and going out to eat. He enjoyed following many sports especially LSU and South Lafourche, and was a member of the 1971 State Champion Football Tarpons team. Most of all he cherished supporting his grandchildren in all endeavors and sports.
