Cerene "Fi Fi" Matherne, 98, a native of Des Allemands and a resident of Lockport, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Sr. and Marie Touchard Matherne; brothers, Charles, Jr., John, Ardon Matherne; sisters, Anastasia Gueffier, Cecile Schaubhut, Blanche LeJeune, Lucille LeJeune and Gladys Schaubhut.
Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
