Cecile M. Pellegrin Guidry, 93, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Raceland, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
Cecile is survived by her sons, Gervais Hotard (Isabelle), Alidore Hotard (Brenda); daughter, Roberta Hotard (Paulette); step-daughters, Lynn Gregoire, Denise Guidry; 4 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 25 step-great-grandchildren; 16 step-great-great-grandchildren; brother, LeRoy Pellegrin; sisters, Lillian Blanchard, Thelma Blanchard, Virginia Brevelle; and her beloved pet, Scooby.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paulite “Lick” Guidry Jr.; parents, Elie and Marie (Emmay) Pellegrin; step-son, Glenn “Pookie” Guidry; step-daughter, Sheila Crochet; sisters, Shirlene Boudreaux, Diana Autin; 1 grandchild; and her special friend, Fabia Guillot.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at St. Mary’s Nativity Church in Raceland, Louisiana on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 with visitation starting at 9:00 am and a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will like thank Hope Healthcare and Hospice for taking great care of Cecile, especially Desmond, Alice, and Zina.
