Casabel "Belle" Dugas Brunet, 89, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, December 31, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9 AM until service time on Saturday, January 6 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with a Mass beginning at 11 AM; burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II.
She is survived by one son, James Dale Brunet; four daughters, Brenda B. Cunningham, Lee Ann B. Breaux, Karen B. Chaisson, and Julie B. Olin; one sister, Mary Lee Waguespack; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James "J.B." Brunet; her parents, Camille and Ozel Babin Dugas; seven brothers, Wilfred, Maurice, Addie, Aaron, Henry, Dudley, and J.P. Dugas; one sister, Gertie D. Blanchard; and one grandson.
She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
