Raceland
Carolyn Dufrene Sevier, 80, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12th at St. Mary’s Nativity Community Center, in Raceland, from 9 am until service time. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Carl Sevier; son, Todd (Melissa) Sevier; daughter, Laura (Darrin) Yelverton; siblings, Albert (Bobbie) Dufrene, Jr., Glenn (Sue) Dufrene and Cindy (Neal) Dufrene; grandchildren, Marvin (Rileigh) Sevier, Grace (Cole) Champagne Kendrick, Julia Champagne; great-grandchildren, Maelynn, Zailey and Braxten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Dufrene, Sr. and Elta R. Dufrene.
The family would like to thank the staff of Haydel Hospice and caretaker, Olinda Gros for their care.
