Cut Off
Burke “T-Burke” Pitre, 63, a native of Galliano and resident of Cut Off passed away on Friday, July 12th, 2024.
Mr. Burke is survived by his daughter: Nikki Rousse husband Joshua L. Rousse; granddaughters: Parker Hebert and Porter Rousse; and siblings: Terral Pitre, Barbara Rebstock, Robin Pitre, Donna Collins, Johanna Matherne, Jacinda Blanchard, Melissa LeBlanc.
Mr. Pitre was preceded in death by parents: Raleigh and Velma B. Pitre; brother: Perry Pitre; nephew: Eric Vizier; grandparents: Burke and Ophelia Pitre, Albert and Georigettie Blanchard.
Mr. Burke enjoyed working, piloting his tug, being in the marsh, fishing, and spending as much time as he could with his granddaughters.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 from 9:00 am until service time. His Memorial Service will begin at 12 noon with burial following at Cheramie Cemetery.
