Brian “Cajun” Esponge, 61, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church from 10:00 am until service time. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon at the church.
Brian is survived by his mother, Doris Eschete; children, Robert Hable, Tyler Esponge and Jennifer Esponge; grandchildren, Zack, Landon, Lexie and Angelina; brother, Chris Esponge; sisters, Michelle Cook, Cheryl Goin, Ella Bellanger, Gwen Eschete, Julie Eschete as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clifton Francis Esponge; brother, Clifton Esponge Jr.; twin brother, Lionel "Train" Esponge; paternal grandparents, Gustave and Selima Esponge and maternal grandparents, John and Nora Anselmi.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
