Beverly Matherne Sampey, 83, a native of Raceland and a resident of Schriever, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
She is survived by her daughters, Angela Badeaux, Arlene Eschette; brother, Stanly Matherne, Jr.; sisters, Marion Bourgeois, Jerilyn Battaglia, Audrey Hebert, Janet Berzas; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Sampey; son, Larry Sampey; daughters, Carolyn Sampey, Darla Lynn Dufrene; parents, Stanly Sr. and Rena Matherne; brothers, James, Carroll, Evans, Calvin and Danny Matherne.
Falgout Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
