Betty Folse Pertuit

Betty Folse Pertuit, 94, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, September 26, 2025 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne Pertuit (Mary), Jeffrey Pertuit and Todd Pertuit (Stacey); grandchildren, Leif Pertuit, Clint Pertuit, Erica Pertuit, Kane Pertuit; great grandchildren, Logan Pertuit, Caleb Eschette, Jamie Eschette, Randi Hebert, Jray Eschette, Luca Looper, Tristan Pertuit and Trevor Pertuit; brothers, Milton Bobby Folse and Richard Folse; sisters, Sylvia LeBlanc and Patsy Douglas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Pertuit; daughter-in-law, Melinda Pertuit; granddaughter, Chelsi Pertuit; parents, Adolph and Leona Folse; brothers, Earl “Bud” Folse, Lou Folse, Robert Folse and Dave Folse; sisters, Earline Lindley and Helen Pierce.

Betty enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
