Betty Griffin Duet

Betty Griffin Duet, 77, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, LA, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

A visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, in Galliano, on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, in Golden Meadow, on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 9:00 am until her Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am with burial following in Hebert Cemetery.

Betty is survived by her sons, Kelly, Armand (Brandi), and Jonathon (Danette); grandchildren, Ross (Toni), Gage (Lauren), Sage (Michaela), Austin (Jade), Bailey, and Parker; great-grandchildren, Gannon, Willow and Briggs, Vada and Ojess, Noa, Lucille and Esther; sisters, Jeanette Griffin and June Pinell and brother, Jerry Griffin.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Penelton “Do Do” J. Duet, Jr.; son, Lonny Duet; parents, Gilbert and Irene Plaisance Griffin and sister, Geraldine Griffin.
