Betty Guidry Breaux

Betty Guidry Breaux, 87, a native of Raceland and a resident of Mathews, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, February 6, 2026 at St. Hilary of Poitier Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.

She is survived by her two sons, Dean M. Breaux and Marty J. Breaux; two daughters, Amy E. Breaux and Jan L. Breaux; sisters, Vella “Fee” Knight and Doris “Dotie” Dufrene; grandchildren, Chelsea Breaux Pellegrin (Tre), Chad Breaux, Cory Breaux, Chance Breaux and Caden Williams, Lauren Breaux; great grandchildren, Jaxson Pellegrin, Danny Breaux, Seline Breaux and Jace Breaux..

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Roland "T-Nah" Jean Breaux; her parents; Hypolite Guidry Sr. and Laura Babin Guidry; brothers, Cecil Guidry and Hypolite “Lick” Guidry Jr. ; sisters, Isabelle Plaisance and Rena Allemand.

Betty enjoyed cooking, crocheting, word search, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

She was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church.

The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Marcello and all the staff at Ochsner St. Anne Hospital, Ochsner Home Health, Terrebonne General and CIS.
