Mrs. Betty “Betty Boop, Old Lady” Terrebonne, 88, a native of Cut Off and resident of Golden Meadow passed away on Friday, July 4th, 2025.

Mrs. Betty is survived by her husband of 40 years: Leroy “The Can Man” Terrebonne; children: Mary Dubois, Sam Parker, Haley Smith, Jerrie Dubois; grandchildren: Lee Ann Parker, Caitlyn Barbour (Ethan), Tasha Dubois, Amy Fauntleroy (Christian); great grandchildren: Tina Guthrie, Denise Plaisance; 6 great great grandchildren; and brothers: Edward Bourgeois and Paul Bourgeois.

Mrs. Terrebonne was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Elizabeth Touchard Bourgeois; and siblings:, Eugene Bourgeois, Edless Melancon, Regina Burns, Catherine Bourg, Delores Mobley, Janet Dufrene, Sylvia Melancon, and Barbara Dardar.

In her younger years, Betty Boop loved to go out dancing; but the Old Lady loved going to Casinos and Bingo.

Her family would like to thank all the staff of St. Joseph Hospice and the staff of The Broadway; with special deep heartfelt thanks to Dory, April, and Kathy.
