Bella "Ms Mack" Foret Vedros, 97, a native of Bogalusa, LA and a resident of Mathews, LA, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St.Mary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Mary with burial to follow at Resurrection Memorial Park Cemetery, Mathews, LA.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Vedros, Linda Vedros Landry and husband Wallace; daughters in law, Mae M. Vedros, Theoma L. Vedros; son-in-law, Woodrow "Butch" Dufrene; brother, Hudson Foret; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Vedros; parents, Wiltz and Georgina R. Foret; step sons Lawrence Vedros, Ernest "Jay" Vedros; step daughter, Rita V. Dufrene; brother, Wiltz J. Foret and great grandchild, Cody Dufrene.
She was a library assistant at St. Hilary School for 10 years and was a member of the Council of Catholic Women.
