Prairieville

Belinda Jeanette Curole, 52, a native of Des Allemands, Louisiana, and longtime resident of Prairieville,

Louisiana, passed away on October 17, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Born on February 5, 1974, in Raceland, Louisiana, Belinda was the daughter of Joyce Frances Pitre and

Whitney Paul Curole Jr. She graduated from Hahnville High School in 1992 and dedicated many years of

hard work to her longtime employer, Associated Grocers.

Belinda loved life and everything that made it worth living. She loved to laugh, go to the beach, enjoy good

food, try new restaurants, spend time with friends and family, listen to music, and attend

concerts/festivals. She was passionate about her children, loved painting and creating art, enjoyed

playing games with her mother, and was always down for a good pedicure. Belinda was known for her

positivity, infectious laugh, impressive collection of sunglasses and shoes, and her ability to be

unapologetically herself. She had a way of making life brighter simply by being in it.

Belinda was preceded in death by her father, Whitney Paul Curole Jr.; her stepfather, Jackie Dean Arnold;

the fathers of her children, Jarrett Sr. and Robert; both sets of grandparents; three aunts; and four uncles.

We can only imagine the beautiful reunion taking place in Heaven as loved ones gather once again. We

know Heaven is having an amazing party now!

Belinda leaves behind her fiancé, Travis Singleton; her loving mother, Joyce Arnold; and her two beloved

children, Dustin Curole (fiancée, Kaylie Freeman) and Jarrett Hue Jr. (fiancée, Haylee Miller). She was a

proud grandmother to Elijah Curole and Rose Elaine Hue, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.

She is also survived by her five strong-willed siblings: Katherine Billiot (her best friend, ride-or-die, and

partner in crime); Donna Smither (husband, Thorne Smither); Shone Curole; Whitney Curole III (wife, Lisa

Curole); and David Domangue (wife, Jennifer Domangue).

Belinda also leaves behind her two beloved godchildren, Gage Smither and Arabella Guillory, along with

eleven nieces and nephews and fifteen great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom hold a special place

in her heart.
