Barbara "MaeMeire" Guidry Danos

Barbara “MaeMeire” Guidry Danos, 80, native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025.

MaeMeire is survived by her children, Laurie (Jerry) Jordan and Craig (Allison) Blanchard; step-children, Clemille (Diane) Danos III, Julie Racca, and Mary Lusk; her grandchildren, Beau (Montana) Blanchard and Nicholas (Stella) Blanchard; and her first husband, Lawrence Blanchard, Jr.

MaeMeire was preceded in death by her husband, Clemille Danos, Jr., her parents, Ludovic and Anna Mae Guidry; her sister, Elaine (Wilkie) Pitre; and her son in-law, Timothy Jordan.

MaeMeire loved her children, grandchildren, and telling you exactly how she felt. She made friends wherever she went, enjoyed her life, and she will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, December 4th, 2025, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The visitation will continue on Friday, December 5th, 2025, from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A Mass Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary in Larose. A graveside will follow in the church cemetery.
