Arthur H. Meyers, Sr., born in New Orleans on July 26, 1929 and passed away in Morgan City on December 24, 2021 at 6:37 pm.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, May Stubbs Meyers; children, Adam H. Meyers and Arthur H. Meyers, Jr. (Lena); brother, Jerry L. Meyers (Brenda) and sister, Sheila Meyers Shutz (Donald). Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his children, Camile Martin, Candace “Candy” Meyers Pholmann, Cynthia Meyers Ricord and Cassandra Meyers; parents, Louise Innerarity Meyer and Joseph H. Meyer; brothers, Joseph Meyers and Ronald Meyers and sisters, Elsie Meyers Michon and Margerat “Margie” Meyers Gabriel; Also preceded in death by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Arthur was a machinist working at Dominos Sugar Refinery for 33 years. He was an avid fisherman.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
