Andrew John Plaisance, Sr., age 68, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025. He was a native and resident of Golden Meadow, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at 1906 South Bayou Drive, Golden Meadow, LA 70357 on Tuesday August 19, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Andrew is survived by his sons, Ross Plaisance, and Andrew Plaisance, Jr. and wife, Kristan; daughter, Adrienne Plaisance; brothers, Gregory Plaisance and wife, Connie, and Maurice Plaisance and wife, Aimee; sisters, Martha P. Guy and husband, Robert, Jr., and Jennifer P. McLaughlin and husband, Raymond; sister-in-law, Nancy Plaisance; grandchildren, Draven Dobson, Layla Plaisance, Kamren Plaisance, and Annika Plaisance; and great-grandchild, Jamie Joseph Bernal.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Joseph Plaisance and Agnes Theresa Cantrelle Plaisance; and brothers, Larry and Eric Plaisance.
