Andrew J. Baudoin, 81, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Stuart A. Baudoin (Lisa) and Murray S. Baudoin (Jessi); daughter, Rachel B. Loupe (Michael); son-in-law, Anstin Comeaux; grandchildren, Justin, Phillip, Brandon, Andre’, David, Aaron, Mason, Madison, and Addison; great-grandchildren, James, Arthur, and William; brothers, Ray Baudoin (Mary) and Randy Baudoin (Serena); and sisters, Marlene Callahan (Wayne) and Paula Breaux (Terry).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Stover Baudoin; daughter, Jennifer B. Comeaux; his parents, Francis and Mary Jane Robichaux Baudoin; and his brother, Richard Baudoin (Diane).
Andrew was a man who found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. He loved his cattle and was a proud founding member of the Lafourche Roping Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, spending time at his camp, and traveling in his motorhome. He especially loved speaking Cajun French and spending time with his family and friends.
He was known for his warm and affectionate nature and was always ready to give hugs and kisses. Known to many as Joe, Andy, Drew, or “Drewbe,” he had a special way of making people feel welcome and bringing smiles to those around him.
Although he struggled with dementia, his personality, joyfulness, and ability to make people laugh never faded. Even in his final days, he continued to bring laughter and happiness to others.
His journey here has ended, but the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
