Allen W. Foret, Sr., 84, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, May 24, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday with burial to follow at Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Louise V. Foret; sons, Allen Foret Jr., Rickey Foret (Gina), Ronnie Foret (Tammy Lynn) and Tommy Foret (Lisa); daughters, Donna Mae Foret and Mona Allemand (Mike); son-in-law, Edward St. Pierre; grandchildren, Angel, Jason, Christopher, Paul, Ross, Krystal, Jeremy, Amanda and Brandon; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Leonard Foret and sisters, Vickie Chaisson and Mae Catherine Young.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie St. Pierre; parents, Davis and Mae P. Foret; step mother, Anna C. Foret; brothers, Norris, Clarence, Donald and Samuel Foret; sisters, Alice Mae Pierce, Enit Foret, Lydia Folse and Gertrude Chaisson and 1 grandchild, Baby Foret.
Allen was a hard worker, a jack of all trades and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
