Alice B. Babin, 87, a native of St. Charles community and resident of Raceland, died at 10:01 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m.Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Ralph J. (Margaret) Babin and Ronald P. (Barbara) Babin; sister, Irma B. Ledet; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugenie "Junius" Babin; parents, Arcade and Ella Breaux Boudreaux; brothers, Earnest, Herman and Lawrence Babin; and sisters, Lenora Morvant, Lucille Loupe, Denise Arabie and Laura Lombas.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
