Alcide "Buck" Babin Jr., 85, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church on Saturday, July 18, 2015, in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Buck is survived by his son, Kenneth Babin Sr. and wife, Bettlyn; daughter, Debra Babin Hernandez; daughter-in-law, Tina Babin; sister, Earline Guidry; grandchildren, Brandy, Kenneth Jr., Rocoe, Chrissy, Jacob and Julie; and great-grandchildren, MaKayla, Lexi, Triton, Kade, Izyck, Hayden, Hayze, Cohen, Emery Hazel and Nathan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Trosclair Babin; parents, Alcide J. Babin Sr. and Alcida Boudoin Babin; son, Terry Babin; brother, Tilden Babin; and sisters, Irene Lapeyrouse and Marie Robichaux.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
