Abraham C. Griffin, 93, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, LA passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Melva Williams Griffin; son, Linton Griffin and wife Martha; daughters, Marilyn Dewey and husband Ike, Mildred Collins and husband Tedman; brother, Ronald Griffin; sisters, Naise Rousse, Laura Cheramie; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Sedonia Griffin; brothers, Jerevis, Freddie, Cleveland and C.J. Griffin and sisters, Beulah Cheramie and Lois Serigny.
Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
