Abel Joseph Eschete Iii

Abel J. Eschete, III, 90, a native of Raceland, La. and resident of Lockport, La. passed away on November 15, 2022.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Holy Savior Catholic Church from 9:30am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Burial in the Church Cemetery.
Abel is survived by his children; Christine Babin (Wayne), Darnell Roussell (Mike Hotard), and Hansen Eschete (Cathy), grandchildren; Cody Babin (Alyse), Hillary R. Savitts (Jesse), Hailley Roussell (Jordan), Alyssa Eschete (Jeremy), and Amanda Eschete, great-grandchildren; Lawsen, Jessi Claire, Ander, Levi Savitts, Jolie’ Babin, and Isabella Clement, brother; Virgy Estay, and sister; Rose Adams.
Abel was preceded in death by his wife; Eloyse Grabert Eschete, parents; Abel, Jr. and Ethel “Ella” Bourgeois Estay, brother; Esmond Eschete, sisters; Bernice E. Brown and an infant sister; Virgis Estay.
Abel was a member of the American Legion Post 349.
