Steve P. “Pops” Olivier, Sr., 77, a native and resident of Houma passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Saturday, June 1st from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Deborah B. Olivier; children, Steve P. (Anita) Olivier, Jr., Brady C. Olivier, Greg (Barbi) Olivier, Tammy Wilson, and Joseph (Mandy) Olivier; grandchildren, Kelly Williams, Justin Olivier, Celeste Smith, Logan Olivier, Taylor Wilson, Tori Wilson, Tristen Wilson, Laura Lyons, and Devin Olivier; 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Elma Olivier; siblings, Betty Ann Olivier Thibodeaux, Sylvia LeBouef, Ronald Olivier, Sr., Claudette Ledet, Russell Olivier, and Barbara Olivier.
The family would like to thank the staff of the 4th and 5th floors at T.G.M.C., the staff of Journey Hospice, Dr. Brian Matherne, and C.I. S. for the compassionate care they gave Mr. Steve.
