Mr. Roland J. Ledet

Roland J. Ledet, 92, a native of Westwego and resident of Larose passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Friday, April 8th from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with burial to following the church cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ruth H. Ledet; children, Donna L. (Pat) Wojtkiewicz, Darrell J. (Jean) Ledet, David P. (Darlene) Ledet and Darla L. (Phil) Rundell; grandchildren, Jeff (Shelley), Jackie (Josh), Jessica (John), Kendall (Melissa), Tony (Stacie), Erin (Adam), Mallory (T.J.) and Trevor (Taylor); great-grandchildren, Fisher, Eleanor, Harrison, Olivia, Layla, Makayla,, Kennedy and Myles; siblings, Jerry Ledet, Audrey Casso, Sterling “Butch” Ledet, Sr. and Judy Boudreaux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Daisy Ledet; granddaughter, Jamie; siblings, Lloyd Ledet, Sr. and Betty Berger. "Roland enjoyed the outdoors, shucking oysters, gardening, fishing, and visiting with family and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed eating, especially his wife’s delicious cooking. He loved telling jokes and talking about all of the adventures and memories of his past. He was proud of and lived for his family. But above all, he adored his loving wife.
