Mark “Coup” Coupel. 55 a native of Galliano, La. and resident of Golden Meadow, La. passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Visitation will be at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La. on Friday July 16, 2021 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm., and on Saturday July 17, 2021 from 8:00am until service time. A celebration of life will be at 11:00am with burial at Cheramie Cemetery. Coup is survived by his wife of 30 years Debra Duet Coupel, children; Adrian P. Coupel and Kelley M. Coupel, furbaby; Parker James Coupel, mother-in-law: Thelma Melancon, Godchild; Derek Terrebonne, siblings; Mary DeMere, Elizabeth O’quin, and Bobby Coupel. Coup was preceded in death by his parents: Wilbert “Willie” J. and Bella Mae Plaisance Coupel, father-in-law: Nolan Duet, brother-in-law: Delton DeMere and nephew: Erik Terrebonne. Coup was a 20 year Mason, a member of Lafourche Lodge #427 F & AM, He had a passion for cutting grass, Coup was a great family man who loved his children. He was employed by Tiger Offshore.
