A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens from 8:30 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with procession following to her burial in Holy Savior Cemetery. Mrs. Lilly Mae is survived by her children: Gary (Phyllis) Champagne, Jr., Ralph (Mary) Champagne, Jerome (Cindy) Champagne, Diane Champagne, Jody (Florence “Tut”) Champagne, Glenn (Robin) Champagne, Dwayne (Denise “Dee Dee”) Champagne, Denise (Bryan) Dufrene and Tammy (Cassie) Martinez; 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren (with one on the way), and sister: Sherry Ann Billiot. Mrs. Champagne is preceded in death by her husband: Gary Champagne, Sr.; daughter: Andrea Champagne Dufrene; grandchild: Sebastian Sultan; son-in-laws: Corky Dufrene and Tom Orgeron; parents: Wilfred Cedotal and Beatrice Dugas Cedotal; and brother: Jessie Cedotal. Lilly Mae was a loving mother, granny, and friend to many. She loved being with her family the most; and enjoyed her many years of camping, trips to the casino and bingo with friends. She was a cook at Lockport Lower Elementary for many years and a member of the Ladies Altar Society at St. Anthony. Mom you will be missed so much but never forgotten. The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice for the care and compassion they gave our beautiful mother in her final days. Falgout Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
