Elizabeth “Betty” Falgout, 80, a native of Labadieville and resident of Raceland passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Monday, September 12th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume on Tuesday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Elmo J. Falgout, Jr.; sons, Grant (Rebecca) Falgout, Gregg (Dee) Falgout and Garrett (Claudine) Falgout; half-sister, Ellen Ledet; 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, Herlin H. David; mother, Ella Bourgeois; step-father, Suddy Bourgeois; brother, Robert “Bobby” David; step-brother, Raymond “Curtis” Bourgeois.
